Mel Gibson《Resurrection of the Christ》延档：Jaakko Ohtonen 首登场饰耶稣

Lionsgate 宣布调整 Mel Gibson 执导的两部《Resurrection of the Christ》上映档期：第一部从原定 2027 年 3 月 26 日推至 5 月 6 日；第二部从 2027 年 5 月 6 日推迟整整一年至 2028 年 5 月 25 日。芬兰演员 Jaakko Ohtonen 首度公开饰演耶稣的造型，接棒 2004 年由 Jim Caviezel 主演的《Passion of the Christ》——后者全球票房 $6.1 亿，至今仍是史上票房最高的独立制作电影。新片其他主演包括 Mariela Garriga、Pier Luigi Pasino、Kasia Smutniak、Riccardo Scamarcio、Rupert Everett。Gibson 表示："这远不只是一部电影，而是我 20 多年坚持的使命，要把我心中人类历史上最重要的故事讲完。"该项目刚刚结束主体拍摄。Lionsgate 同时把 Johnny Depp 主演的 Daydrinker 排入 2027 年 3 月 26 日档期，这是 Depp 与 Amber Heard 离婚风波后的首部好莱坞主演电影；Depp 也已被 Paramount 选中主演新版 Scrooge。
